Welcome to the personal page of

I attended a high school that had its own circus. Really!

Every year we would put on a show under a little big top and the students would participate. It was called the Sarasota High School Sailor circus. It was cool. I never joined, too shy and too thin. I was in a drama playing a monk.

I did get my first real kiss in the Ringling Mansion. That was cool.

Later my father moved down to Sarasota and ended up volunteering at the Ringling Circus Museum restoring wagons. That was cool.

Whenever we visited him he would always buy us tickets to see the ‘real’ circus as he called it; compared to the industrial circus shows that came afterwards. He liked the animals and the 3 rings.
