Toyota Celica 2000

When I first saw it I had to have it.

It was like seeing a woman looking at you with that special allure. She beckoned me, she seduced me, and  finally she conquered me. Because I had some money for from a will, I could lay down cold cash, and purchased it. She was everything I wanted in a car and more. She was more than any woman had ever been (sorry ladies). Responsive, never tiring and always ready to go. And we went. With a Manuel shift and 4 cylinders, she gave such a surge of power, but quiet, that I was soon cruising around at 200 Kilometres an hour and red lining her at 300 Km. When the cars looked they are parked on the super highway as you whizz pass them you know you are hauling ass.  She was forgiving, and able to drive in all conditions, rain or snow. My wife and dog loved her. She was mine.

I had her for about 10 years; after that all cars are just conveniences to move around in. You never forget the feeling of power and  grace. My steel mistress. I finally gave her to my son.
