I had heard of the legendary hospitality of Moroccans, but I didn’t know if it was true until I took the bus to Marrakesh and I sat by a young man who was talking to his girlfriend in Quebec. I talked to him and after an hour he invited us back to his home for dinner. He was poor, yet his hospitality was that of a king. Plus he wanted us to take some jewelry to his Quebecois girl friend, which we did. He was a tour guide and he gave a private tour of Marrakesh by night. We were staying at la Maison Arabe a famous hotel. We had lodgings fit for a king.
We spent a couple of days visiting the city. What a wonderful place. Then back to Agadir where we took a tour of the oasis. Some images from Morocco. See more of Morocco here
